Chet MarshallInternational Speaker, Author, Coach

Upon completion of a keynote presentation in Utah, a lady approached me with tears in her eyes, embraced me and said, "You've changed my life today, you've changed my life." My response to her was, "I'm so happy I've inspired you and the presentation was meaningful to you, but I can't change you. You have to change yourself. What would make me happy is that in six months you email me and share the changes you've made in your life." The tag of ‘motivational' speaker is one I don't use, because people have to motivate themselves, I can inspire them, but I can't motivate them.

Inspiration is a key element of adding value to others. The opportunities I've had around the world with young people, business people of all professions, pastors, community leaders, civic clubs, politicians, children who have been orphaned and even those who have been incarcerated has given me a platform to add value. Whether it be sharing the "Ten Principles to Success," "Managing Your Internal Advisors for Successful Outcomes," "The Power of Passion and Purpose," or "Lessons on Leadership" it is my desire and purpose that those within the sound of my voice has been inspired to take action and walk away with added value they can embrace in their lives. Through radio shows, television shows and live audience presentations, I've been blessed beyond measure to do all that I can do in providing HOPE by Helping Other People Everyday.

My mentor, John Maxwell, the leadership guru wrote two statements that changed my life's vision. "Success is when you add value to yourself. Significance is when you add value to others." It is my desire to be significant in all I do and say, by adding value to you.
